About Running Through Your Mind
I've developed the RTYM virtual online running & fitness club to introduce and encourage people who think running or exercise is not for them to a more positive way of life. Exercise and in particular Running is not just all about punishing yourself & your body to become an athlete. The true benefits are much greater than that. It will give you a more positive way of thinking and improve your Mental Health and have you got a formidable team behind you.
Firstly there is me. I'm Mike and I have spent over 25 years as a Climber & Mountaineer travelling all over the world. Training & maintaining fitness was a vital part of this to be able to succeed and eventually I carried my fitness into running and running events, regularly competing in distances ranging from 5K to Marathons. This has led me to study fitness programmes, nutrition & healthy eating, workouts and many other aspects of Running & Exercise. I hold diplomas as a Personal trainer & Fitness instructor and Nutrition/sports nutrition.
Alongside me is a friend who is a former British Army Triathlon Champion and army PTI with a wealth of experience in competing at the highest level and who has trained, studied and used Olympic standard training programmes. Together we can provide exercise & running programmes for all levels and abilities, from beginner to seasoned athletes.
We also have a regular Ironman competitor and also an Ultra runner who has been running for over 30 years and has competed in numerous off road Marathon's and 50 mile races.
A wealth of experience to make sure you're on the right track.
We'll be here for you every step of the way, whether it be you are unsure of where to start and lack confidence and it's you're first ever time doing exercise or running. Or if you've ran before but want advice and guidance on you future running plans.
